Eric works with business owners and executives not only to maximize productivity and profitability but also to have a meaningful personal life!

Eric brings an in-the-trenches experience to coaching. He has owned several successful businesses and has effectively navigated major career transitions. Eric is passionate about helping business owners and executives achieve professional and personal fulfillment. He is highly skilled at equipping and empowering his clients to remove the roadblocks that keep them and their businesses from flourishing.
Eric’s interest in coaching began in 2011. After 25 years of working in corporate finance and strategic planning, he was ready for a new challenge. Eric discovered his next career while participating in an employer-sponsored career coaching program, talking with other coaches, and reading Co-Active Coaching by Whitworth, Kimsey-House and Sandahl.
This experience helped Eric realize that he wanted to have a direct and personal impact on the lives of business professionals. He wanted to coach people to be the very best versions of themselves…to thrive in the careers or businesses and lives they truly enjoyed. A career was born!
Eric completed an ICF-approved coach training program and founded The Next Phase Coaching, LLC., in 2012. He has appeared on Second Half Now: A Radio Show for Boomers and Beyonders. Eric is a gifted and compelling storyteller, speaker and workshop presenter. He talks to business owners and professionals on many topics including time management, goal setting, leveraging strengths, success vs. significance, and effective communication. Eric routinely speaks at his local Toastmasters club.
Eric currently serves as a member of the Business Acceleration Team with the Tualatin Chamber of Commerce. He has served on the Board of the ICF Oregon Charter Chapter, formerly the NW Coaches Association. Eric has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame with an emphasis in Finance.
Eric and his wife reside in historic Oregon City, Oregon, and he is the proud father of three daughters. He is an avid reader and loves dogs, singing, going for long walks, and taking pictures to “capture the moment.” He also is active with several non-profits and is an ardent Notre Dame football fan.
Eric enjoys building relationships and having deep conversations. He especially likes to help people solve problems, get unstuck, overcome obstacles and live up to their full potential…to be and do all that they were “hard-wired” to be and do.
